New structure – for the benefit of the industry and band saw technology
After almost 25 years of operation, Luja is now taking the next step with a new organization. This is done to future-proof, further develop and disseminate the knowledge we have built up.
Going forward, Luja Sawtech wil be organized under a commercial foundation, the Luja Foundation, and at the same time, Luja Academy is launched as a new knowledge and development center for band saw technology.
Three units – one mission
The new structure unites Luja in three pillars with the shared purpose of developing the technology around band saws.
The commercial foundation holds the overall ownership and must ensure that profits from operations are reinvested in development and research. The foundation's purpose is to promote innovation and knowledge sharing in saw technology for the benefit of the entire industry.

A newly established knowledge and development center focusing on research, testing, and documentation of band saw technology. The academy's goal is to set new standards for yield, quality, precision, and energy consumption in the industry.

The company continues as before and is being strengthened. Luja is rebuilding a dedicated service organization and will continue to offer its well-known products, such as oil, consumables, and the Luja Blade Guide System.
